These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your submission of information via the Best Before Merchant Interest Form. By submitting this form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information.

2. Purpose of Submission

 

The purpose of this form is to collect expressions of interest from businesses interested in partnering with Best Before, a platform currently in development that aims to reduce food and product waste by connecting local businesses with local customers.

 

Submitting your information does not create a formal commercial agreement or guarantee future participation on the platform.

3. Eligibility

 

You must be:

• An authorised representative of a business based in Australia or New Zealand

• Over 18 years old

• Able to provide accurate and truthful information

 

We reserve the right to verify your information and may decline or remove your submission at our sole discretion.​

4. Use of Information

 

By submitting this form, you consent to us:

• Collecting and storing your provided information

• Contacting you about future participation, platform updates, newsletters (if opted in), and food waste-related news

• Using aggregated, anonymised data for research or planning purposes

 

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian privacy regulations (see below).

5. No Commercial Relationship

 

This submission does not:

• Create a binding contract between you and Best Before

• Guarantee your inclusion in any future version of the platform

• Entitle you to compensation, promotional rights, or exclusivity

 

If a partnership is pursued, it will be formalised in a separate written agreement.

By submitting your details, you agree to be contacted by Best Before via email, phone, or other provided methods. You can unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.

7. Intellectual Property

 

All content on the Best Before platform and marketing materials (including logos, designs, and wording) remains our intellectual property. Submission of your business details does not grant you any rights to use our brand assets unless permission is explicitly given.

8. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Best Before is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from:

• Your participation in this early sign-up process

• Technical issues or data breaches beyond our reasonable control

• Changes to our product roadmap, timelines, or features

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Brisbane.

10. Amendments

 

We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
